Carpet underlay tape is used for joining carpet underlay to prevent movement and also to prevent filtration.Filtration is caused when the draughts travel down through the carpet and along the joins of the underlay and then into your subfloor(only occurs in wooden floors)This can prevent the carpet suffering from tram lines forming when the carpet acts as a dust filter.Sold in 25m rolls. |
Double Sided Tape. Ideal for using under vinyl floorcoverings preventing movement and curl.This double sided tape simply fixes the floorcovering to the subfloor.Sold in 25m rolls. |
Spray Adhesive. Used to fix carpet underlay to the floor.Especially ideal when fitting onto a concrete subfloor when staples cannot be used.This product is also ideal for fixing felt backed carpets to wood or concrete subfloors when no underlay and gripper are to be used. One can will fix approx 30sq.m of felt backed carpet or underlay. |
Gripper Adhesive. Used to stick carpet gripper to concrete subfloors.Many carpet fitters will not use a gripper with concrete pins in as they have a tendancy to work loose after a time.This product ensures that the gripper is firmly stuck to the concrete subfloor and will prevent problems arising with loose carpet gripper.One tube will fix approx 15 metres of carpet gripper,dependant on the condition of the subfloor.. |
